When people have their car admitted for mobile car detailing, they do not really know the process of this procedure. All they know is that their car is being cleaned very well in all tight spots and corners. Remember, it is also important to be aware of what the detailer is doing with your vehicle.

Here are the things that are usually being done by the detailers:

  • In most cases, the detailing process begins in the interior part.
  • The dust and large debris are removed and vacuumed.
  • The seats are also cleaned with a special solution and are being brushed carefully. This process removes the deep seated dusts without damaging the seats.
  • The windows are also cleaned using a glass cleaner. Not many people clean the inside part of the glass but in vehicle detailing, this one is done.
  • The engine is also cleaned especially if you asked for a complete mobile auto detailing which includes the interior, exterior and the engine.
  • The engine cleanup is done before the exterior detailing is performed so that any dirt and debris that will scatter from the engine to the car exterior will still be cleaned.

The hood is opened and any sensitive parts of the engine are covered.

A special cleaner is poured to the engine.

The solution is allowed to stay without rinsing for approximately 10 minutes before it is washed.

After that, the engine is checked for any areas where there are oil and dust accumulations and a degreaser is used.

A brush is also utilized to scrub off tough dirt.

The engine is allowed to dry and is turned on for 20 minutes.

  • After the engine, the exterior is the last stop for the detailer.
  • The car is being washed under a shade.
  • All parts are sponged and soaped.
  • There are detailers that use a high pressure hose to clean the car and to get rid of rust.
  • After the wash, the car is dried immediately and a protective formula is wiped unto the car surface for shine.
